  1. More ESCMID funding available in 2008
    ESCMID has expanded its awards, grants and fellowships programme:
    NEW! ESCMID Research Grants (up to EUR 20'000 per project)
    NEW! ESCMID Training Fellowships (up to EUR 9'600 per individual)
    The application deadline for 2008 is 1 October 2007. Please check the website for eligibility and application details. We look forward to receiving your proposals.
  2. The new ESCMID Training and Career Centre is flourishing
    After being online for only two months the new job platform was already visited by several job seekers and institutions offering positions. Please browse at www.escmid.org/career for open positions and profiles of applicants.

  1. Major topics at 17th ECCMID/25th ICC: Antibiotic Resistance, Disease Control and Emerging Infections in Europe
    Read clinically focussed news coverage of key developments from the meeting.
     
  2. Infectious Diseases Unit of DG Research provides FP7 presentations slides of the EU Information Session at 17th ECCMID/25th ICC
    Find practical guidance about how to develop and submit a successful proposal to the Framework Programme 7 by A. Lönnroth, DG Research, European Commission, Brussels.

  1. Attendance grant application deadline extended, apply now for the 6th ESCMID Summer School, 1-6 July 2007, Suceava, Romania
    The application deadline for attendance grants to this one-week course dedicated to postgraduate and continuous medical education has been extended to 23 May 2007. Please follow the link above for more information and registration.
